Colorbond and timber fencing in Perth

Our retaining wall and fencing services

Perth retaining wall and fencing specialists
We are a small family run business working out of Hillarys. The owner has been building walls and fences around Perth for 16 years and he is on site for every job we take on. There is no call centre and no sales rep in the middle. You talk to the person doing the work.
We keep the crew small on purpose. It means we only book in the work we can do properly, and it means the wall you end up with is the wall we quoted you.

Retaining wall questions, answered
What does a retaining wall cost?
It comes down to how long the wall is, how high it goes, what you build it from and how hard the ground is to dig. Most home walls work out between $X and $Y a square metre, supplied and built. You get a fixed price in writing after we look at the job, not a guess over the phone.
Do I need council approval?
Most councils want an application once a wall goes over 500mm, and some ask for engineering drawings with it. We will tell you what your council needs when we come out, and we can point you to an engineer if the wall needs one.
Who pays when the wall is on the boundary?
If the wall holds soil back for both blocks, the cost is usually shared with your neighbour. We can write the quote so it splits two ways, and you both get the same paperwork to look at.
How long does a wall take to build?
A normal home wall takes two to four days on site. Long walls, hard rock or wet weather can add a day or two. Your quote gives you real dates, not a rough window.
Can you build the fence on top as well?
Yes. We build the wall and put the Colorbond or timber fence up on top of it in the same visit, which works out cheaper than booking two crews and waiting twice.
